when heidi said 'spencer', it sounded like it was cut off of a sentence she was saying. the producers just want to make good tv, they do a lot of editing.

YEah, the end of the hills was a little confusing. I think they intentionally edited it that way to confuse everyone.
Yeah, I think Spencer finally admitted he started the rumor, because when Heidi told him what Jen had said he smiled and stayed quiet- Heidi realized that he did start the rumor and she was like Spenser? and he just smiled... And yeah I think Jen is trying to get Heidi to speak to Lauren again...
That was my impression. He didn't say anything when she asked but he sure did get an evil grin on his face. Then the way she said "Spencer" much the way a mother admonishes a child pretty much made me believe that she thinks he started it. She sure didn't look very pleased as the show went off the air.
Maybe she is starting to realize that his evil ways have cost her nearly every friend that she had.
