well, i know a few, but some comedy has difference, like comedy with a point, comedy, or crazy comedy, or stupid comedy. most of my favorites fall under crazy. (listed by favorite being number 1)

Um...Ace Ventura:when nature calls, dumb and dumber, dumb and dumberer (sequel), anchorman, bruce almighty, forrest gump, date movie, dodgeball, meet the parents/fockers, napoleon dynamite, nacho libre, big daddy, mr.deeds, shallow hal, epic movie...

Death to Smootchie - starring Robbin Williams, Edward Norton and ????. It is very funny, but there are a few places where they use bad language.

More for kids I would say rent anyone of the Scooby Doo and Shaggy Too Movies. They are always clean and funny.

One of my favorites is "Young Frankenstein" starring Gene Wilder and Peter Boyle. It's a really funny spoof of the Frankenstein story but it's not horror and it's rated PG.

Another good one is "Space Balls" starring John Candy and Rick Moranis. It's a very funny spoof of "Star Wars" and it's also rated PG.

Yet another one is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", also rated PG. It stars Bob Hoskins as a human detective who goes into a cartoon world to solve a mystery. Very funny movie.

I think Shanghai Knights with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson was very funny. Another good one is Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder.
