The Black Ace serial was exciting and the teeniest bit frightening because disguises hid the identity of the lead character.

Muffin the Mule was pure fun, and on Saturday afternoon it was Whirligig with Humphrey Lestoq.
When I was a kid before television my favourite programme on radio was Children's Hour. If there had been television in those days it would probably have been Grange Hill. ( Poor old me).
When I was very young I liked Play school, Mister Benn and Magic Roundabout . As I got older I enjoyed Blue Peter and Grange Hill.
The Double Deckers
the banana splits, brilliant. just looking at the other answers, the double deckers, forgot about that, also brilliant
RAINBOW...zippy was my absolute fave. also loved snoopy!!!!
The Buccaneers starring Robert Shaw
I liked Rainbow and Hichory House. And Grange Hill with Tucker Jenkins.

It just has to be the banana splits. It was daft, but mainly the opening titles were really catchy.
