Answers: what do u think of it? Im an american who loves the nbc version and just started watching the bbc version. im not sure if i like it yet. thoughts?

I used to watch the British version when I had BBC America. It would make me laugh until my stomach ached. I like the American version, but I'm not a devoted fan. It doesn't make me laugh as much. I think it's more cute and sentimental; the comedy isn't as biting. And I don't think Steve Carrell is as funny as the British guy (I forget his name). Carrell makes the character too likable. The British actor makes that character totally obnoxious. I think it's funnier that way.

I absolutely love The Office. I've seen 1-2 episodes of the BBC show. I think that the British version is a bit more raunchy because they don't have the censorship problem that we have in the US. The storylines are very similar though.

P.S. I may be the biggest, "The Office" fan and I'll bet you 1 gillion Schrute bucks to prove it.

I'm just the opposite. I watched the original version and had to get used to the NBC version...I love them both.

I have only been able to catch A few moment of the British version. They don't air it at A time I could watch it on BBC America. It looks very good though and I was thinking of just buying the DVDs of the show.
