Answers: Out of the top three people on American idol 2007, which did u want to win?? (Jordin, Melinda, Blake). I personally wanted Melinda to win. She is an amazing singer. Then probably Jordin, shes also really talented (that's why she won :)) then Blake. It really suprised me that he got all the way to the finales. Sometimes people just vote for him because hes hot. That really bugs me because its a singing contest and people should vote for the person they think has talent and singing abililty.

I agree that Melinda was amazing! She also has a very sweet side to her that I don't think she will ever loose even in the lime-lites of Hollywood.Also, she had the most consistent performances, meaning that I don't remember seeing one performance that could have been categorized as 'so-so'. Jordin was also excellent but she did have a couple of 'so-so' performances. Blake...Hot? Not. Cute, yes. He just has his own style and could have made it without American Idol. I think he should have just stayed in Seattle and left room for others that may not have had the resources to get recognized.

It really didn't matter, that whole "cast" was very, very uncommercial and unmarketable. and before you jump down my throat I did not say Untalented, because they were. Just not any really marketable talent among them.

It's all about having the full package; the looks, voice and the ability to entertain a crowd. But we all know most contestants make it pretty far just because they are good looking.
I agree that people should vote based on the contestants talent. Just because you are a good performer, doesn't mean you got the voice to back it up. Blake's vocals weren't great but he knows how to entertain a audience. I am a Jordin fan and I am glad she won. She can sang and give a good performance. Melinda is talented as well but didn't have that Spark like Jordin does. ;)

I agree with you, I really thought that Melinda had the best voice of the three that you mentioned. I have to disagree with you about Blake, though. He is really talented. I absolutely loved how he was so fresh and different. He didn't just sing the same old ballad like everyone does. He didn't play it safe. He took risks. I think America loved that and that's why they voted for him. Yes, he is good looking but his talent is what got him to the finals.

Jordin was the best, but no one compares to the 2005 season! The finalists that year were really great. Can't wait to see what singers they dig up this next year...you never know who's name will be in the spotlight next!

I loved Blake, but did not really want him to win. I really do think that Melinda should have won. I'm in the middle with Jordin I don't dislike her but I don't like her either
