Love Angel because, well he's hot.
But Buffy was the original and the better of the two.

Angel all the way. It handled more issues such as rape, racism, police brutality, and corporate greed. In addition, it was able to be more grown up and darker than its sister series.

While Angel was a great spin-off, Buffy was probably one of the best and smartest written TV shows EVER in television. My husband and I seriously mourned it going off the air...and we're no starry-eyed teenagers!

I liked both WHY?

Buffy- She handled issues from high school to college and after college its hard. She handled stuff that most girls like my self are strugling through it also had other characters that struggled through. OH it also had Spike who was hot and Xander who was HILARIOUS

Angel: Well cause he solved cases and it had spike in the last season.

I must have read that wrong... I thought someone said the Buffy movie was good but the TV shows were lame... that just couldn't have actually been someones real opinion.

Such a hard decision to make when I'm in love with both! I enjoyed the earlier seasons of Buffy, and I guess if I had to choose, it'd be Angel because of all his inner angst, brood, rock-hard gorgeousness, and all the interesting situations the cast has gotten into over their five season run.
