they are already home. they most likely will have a live finale though. but yeah, it was filmed early summer (you can tell by the weather) and is now airing. the finale will definitely be where they are asked how it was to live there and such.

I'm sure they're already home since the show isn't live. Good question, though! :) I love Kid Nation and every time I watch it I wish I was there because it looks like so much fun!

The show was taped back in April . So the kids have been home for quite some time.
They are watching the show at home along with us now.
I agree it is a great show.
