If you don't want to watch the episode, then just read on....Santos was shot during a robbery of a convenience store. The scenes in the first episode of the second season were just Hilda's fantasy.

awww..... hopefully you get it to work... cuz the ending of the first episode would answer your question. And in my honest opinion you should watch it instead of hearing from what happened from someone else. Foreal....the last couple mins were AMAZING!!!

Hilda had been fantasizing that he was okay. It was really sad. At the end of the episode Betty walked into the room and you could see Hilda sitting in her room alone holding a pillow.
