Yesterday on Gordon Ramsey, "Kitchen Nightmares"?!

Question: The update said that the resturaunt was sold after 5 months. Do you believe it was because the owners "Lost heart" or that Gordon Ramsey helped get them into a position where somebody would want to offer money for it.

Do you feel the son lived up to the fathers dream, or did he fail ?

Those cooks were pretty aweful...agree?

I think they lost the restaurant because the son realized he didn't have what it took to run it correctly. Asides from that, the restaurant got a free makeover and who knows just how much "an offer they counldn't refuse" really is. For all we know, the real reason for having Gordon there could have been to make the place sellable.

I think the son failed. He sold off his fathers' restaurant.

Those cooks were a nightmare. Who needs a cook who doesn't take orders and can't tell when something is spoiled or not. One cook was cocky because he had been cooking for over 30 years and thought he knew everything; I can't believe he refused to taste Gordons food. The other cook couldn't even keep the fish from overcooking. They both sucked.

Lol and the mother's powdery cookie was the best. It was funny seeing all the powdered sugar fly off when Gordon was trying to eat it. XD
those cooks were awful pigs!!! but to answer your question, yes i do think it was sold because i don't think they could handle the business, i believe he failed!! how about you?
i think they sold it after 5 months not because of "Lost Heart" but because after doing the show the restaraunt was worth a whole lot of money so they took the offer. The son lived up to the fathers dream by becoming a succesful owner and making his restaraunt the best he could! :]
DEFENETLY! the cooks were pretty discusting! and extremely rude they should not be cooking in that discusting kitchen, it turned my stomach when chef ramsey 'investigated' that kitchen! Y-U-C-K! im glad they got fired! dont you think the new chefs are way better? do you think there is only a full house because people want to be on television or because the restaraunt got updated?
The son failed miserably & I think he did not honor his father at all. He was such a wuss. He was sad & had no back bone whatsoever. I'm surprised the restaurant stayed opened for that long. They probably sold it, because he could not handle it & obviously did not know how to manage it.~~
I think they sold it because they were offered a huge amount of money that they never would of been offered before Chef Ramsey put all that time, energy and money into it to make it so radically improved the way he did....and there was no way they could refuse it!

Maybe their heart was not in it as much as it should of been, but it could of been because they were so stressed too running it and when they realized that they had such an incredible offer on it, they decided it was worth it to sell it...and that way they still gained the father's inheritance and fulfilled his father's dream of having the place restored and running as well as it did many years before that.

YES...those 2 cooks were so disgusting and I am so glad that he fired them...thanks to Chef Ramsey and his strong recommendation to do it! I was shocked when the owner decided to mop up the tomato sauce on the kitchen floor that was spilled all over...instead of asking or demanding that the cooks clean up their own spill!

The son went from a weak owner to a much stronger leader and I know his mother was extremely proud of him too. I loved seeing the transformation and changes..what a great show!
