depends on the case sometimes the music is dumb and cheesy the ones were an innocent man has to go to prison hit me hard cause i know a guy who went through that and DNA proved he didn't rape the girl. sad happens more times than people think very true and very sad thank god for DNA

It's about 50% of the time for me too. Yeah, the music can be cheesy, but it's also damn effective at tugging at the heartstrings. I get especially worked up at recent cases (I find that I'm not as affected by the ones from like 1940 or so) and the ones involving children, but any case has the potential to make me cry. That's one of the main reasons I like Cold Case; its ability to give me enough insight into the victim and his/her life to make me really care. So much better than "corpse #1" and such of the CSIs.

It is a very emotional series. especially at the end when a family member or lily sees the dead person, you know before they disappear again. last week's one, i was speechless.
