Question: This morning at the grocery store, I saw on the cover of a soap opera magazine something about the real reason for her leaving. I didn't have time to scan through it. Does anyone know? And while I have your attention.. what would you like to happen with Eric now that he promised Nick he'd divorce Stephanie?

Yes, Susan Flannery left earlier than planned because she was ill. However, she did have a vacation planned. So, it ended up being a month-long "vacation". She'll be back either this Friday or next - can't remember which one. I'd like to see Eric away from Stephanie. I'm not a huge Brooke fan, but after what she did to her, that was inexcusable. She went too far this time. Between that & the non-existing passion in their marriage, it's time to move on. I'm not sure if Donna is the right choice, but who knows...
I think Stephanie wants to retire. AS for Eric, I bet he will get together with Jackie
I've heard illness, vacation, etc. Either way I hope Susan Flannery is okay because she is a fabulous actress.
I wouldn't mind seeing Eric divorce Stephanie. It's nice to see him getting some airtime. I don't think he should be with Donna Logan, Jackie seems like a much better fit for him, but I can't see him staying away from Stephanie too long.
