ABC1 was closed down in September 2007 by Disney, as they no longer wanted to continue broadcasting the service. It's not coming back. There's been no news on what will replace this channel yet.

FTN was replaced by Virgin 1 on the 1st of October.

I've completly lost ABC on Freeview too, bring back 8 simple rules.

Yeah i cant get it either now i was flicking through all the channels and there was a channel 401 that said it was abc1 but it didn't work. You could try that cos i dont know if its just my tv that isnt working. And its not only on after 7 it finishes at 6pm!

It isnt on sky channels either, my sis told me that the yanks have taken it back so i dont really know. If they do bring it back plz stop the repeats and give us some new episodes.

No sorry Disney pulled the plug with message thanks for our loyal viewers of three years bit with deep regret service now been taken off. It is off all sky, cable freeview ect sorry crap of them I loved that channel.

It has definately shut down.Apparently,after 3 years ABC wanted to continue broadcasting into the evening and nighttime as well,however,this was refused,so they pulled the plug.
Are you having trouble with FTN as it seems to have gone also?
