One day on his show last year he went off this guy for looking at porn and how it was wrong. He degraded this guy. Well look who his son married. His son married someone who modeled naked in play boy. porn is porn. But he has no problem that his son married a porn star.

Dr. Phil is a pawn of Oprah. she created him, she can destroy him. he goes on and on about weight loss and crap, and he's a little tubby himself. it's like having an overweight nutritionist. something just isn't right....

In private life and private practice, he'd probably be considered a gem. He has abundant common sense, which is often lacking in the general populace. And he will listen to people tell their side at length, unlike say Judge Judy. But I think he has been made out to be more than he is. His books are all 250 pages of holding your hand and telling you everything is going to be alright. He's gotten rich from all that happy chat BS.

But as I say, he gets points for having common sense.

Yes! His shows appeal to the emotions only. If you take the time contemplate his shows you are left with questions only no answers. Consistent long term results are given about his subjects.

Not overrated in my book. He tells it like it is & in the past he talked about issues that I was also experiencing in life & it felt as though he was talking directly to me during his shows. He gives great advice & is a no nonsense kind of guy. He genuinely wants to help people get back on track with their lives.

oh please. don't get me started with this overblown, super-saturated windbag. like, who is he to tell anyone what to do and by the way, who died and left him boss? huh? i guess this is a no-brainer that i dislike him, his pompous over-sized ego and head. there are very few, and i mean very few, who i see as knowledgeable people (for all people , all the time). anybody who has to promote themselves at the expense of others lost me at the gate!

Dr. Phil just might be the most over rated human being in history. He is a pompous windbag and fat *** who has **** all right to be giving weight advice to anybody. To all you nice people out there who might protest: "But he gives good advice," I would ask only that you consider the bottom feeders he has cherry-picked to drag out on stage and give advice to. If only they didn't play commercials for his insipid internet dating service on the sports radio station I listen to, I would be able to avoid him entirely. Anytime a liberal yuppie tries to tell me how great she thinks Oprah is, I can inevitably bring her up short by pointing out that if it were not for Oprah, that quivering self-important gash Dr. Phil would never have been unleashed upon the world.

No. He has a very difficult agenda trying to reach and help the people in TV land. He is a Christian as is Robin. They have a love and a hope for people. I don't approve of the Oprah connection, but nobody asked me. Sometimes you have to use the devil's money to get the Word out. Way to go Dr. Phil!!!

I use to watch him all the time but haven't the past few months. It has just gotten uninteresting. I wish he would do better. I liked when he was helping families. Like that one family that the teen daughter got pregnant.
