I'm wondering the same thing! the other week, as Heidi was folding towells and asked Spencer to help her, he pointed at his computer and said "im working." So maybe he works from home on his computer?????? or maybe he's just a loser?? or both??
I read somewhere that he works in the music industry. He helped Heidi producer her album.
Spencer comes from a very wealthy family, Also on the side he is a producer and celebrity agent.

Pratt “coproduced” Jenner’s short-lived reality series, Princes of Malibu, which chronicled the Jenner brothers’ pampered existence under the rule of their stepfather, shmaltz-rock producer David Foster—yes, the man who brought America Josh Groban and Michael Bublé is somehow involved in this mess.
Spencer’s management company, Innovator Management, has about four clients, though it’s tough to tell as most of Pratt’s “companies” have MySpace pages without any other Web presence. The clients are, not surprisingly, Brody, Heidi (who is cutting an album soon under Spencer’s tutelage), David Foster, and The Princes of Malibu (DVD).
Spencer is VP of Archangel L.A., a company which appears to make silver jewelry that retails at two stores in Los Angeles. The goods are not yet available for purchase (or really even to look at) online.

Spencer and Brody both come from very wealthy families. Did you ever watch "The Princes Of Malibu" when it was on TV? If not, this show covered the day to day life of Brody, His Brother Brandon and Spencer.....they never worked! I've included a short summary of the show below. I actually enjoyed Spencer on this particular show....it was hilarious!

I read in US Weekly that Spencer's father is a famous dentist. He has been best friends with Brody since childhood, so you know he must be rich. I am not certain exactly what his job is because I have only seen him "working" on his laptop. I think he is a total loser!
