The consistently funniest was when Aunt Esther would come in with her self righteous attitude and call Sanford such names as 'you old heathen you'. ... or 'fish eyed fool'. I mean, that woman stole the show when she was on it.

Yeah it was very funny.

Especially the scene where he caused commotion on the airplane. Like when he had a bag of chicken wings and offered to sell it to people in Coach.

My mom and I always laugh about "little lame LaMont", when Fred wanted to meet Lena Horne. Remember? He lied to her about his little crippled boy who dreamed of meeting her?

Another very funny episode was when LaMont wanted to discover his African roots. I can't remember what his new name was, but they had a lot of fun about Fred being set in his ways vs. Lamont wanting to "find himself", wearing a dashiki and changing his name. I think Fred said something about his ancestors being from St. Louis, which is where Redd Foxx was born.

That is a very funny, often outrageious sitcom.
