I'm afraid not. My father was a major fan of Bill Cosby, and we have all of his comedy albums. But, that show started out OK but just kept going downhill.
They sold it for mega-dollars for syndication then watched as ratings dropped. Maybe after all of this time, people will enjoy it again. I know it's a popular sitcom. I just wouldn't want to watch it again.
I think it's a good family sitcom and that kids of all ages very likely would enjoy it. Perhaps they'd get away from the ultra-baggy, way-too-large clothes and decide they liked these other styles. That would be good!
Yes, I love the show. To this day. And one of the reasons I will admit to now, is they were no different to my family. I had a blended family, but Cosby didn't take that approach.........it was just about family.
That was the fun. Yeah, every so often they got afro-centric, but you did measure up to Cosby for a while. Just like I measured up to Roseanne! That is the fun part isn't it?
Roseanne catered to our best of being white trash, and Cosby catered to being the elite of minorities!
Yes.......I loved the Cosby Show! And today when I watch the old episodes, I just see my family!
