Violence in Films and TV is it...?

so very bad and does it really corrupt of fragile little minds....OR...is it just a reflection of whats really going on in todays society?
i dont mean fantasy films by the way...

Answers: Lets just say, if someone is going to copy what they see, they already have something messed up about themselves in the first place lol I tend to stay out of the debate as to whether it should be shown or not but personally I can't stand it.
I'm too empathetic and it genuinely disturbs me to the point where I can't just flick around the channels. I have to see what's on first.
I just can't see what's entertaining about watching other people get hurt. i try to be good person, i have never been in trouble with the police, i wouldn't go out of my way to hurt anyone, and i think all the violence in the world is terrible.
i love violent films, clint eastwood is a favourite, quentin tarrentino films are great and although i like chick flicks i also like action movies too. i know at the end of the day these actors get up and go home because it's not real.

evening razz! I believe that it can corrupt some people. It's a combination, really. It DOES reflect violence in our society, but it also corrupts the minds of those who are easily corruptible. If you ask me though, people who can be swayed that easily by what they see on TV & in movies will be swayed by ANYTHING. If it's not TV, it'll be some sinister person doing the swaying. i dont think its that bad, i think it may infulence mentally disturbed people but proberly anything could do that, im sure people would come up with evil things without being shown it first.

many gorry films are based on true stories so i believe it is a reflection on todays society

sad but true
