In all the soaps where does everyone get there money to sit in the pub all day e!

Question:

In all the soaps where does everyone get there money to sit in the pub all day everyday?

its soooo annoying because that is obviously not what everyone in real life does they must have alot of money or get paid a good wage to be able to do it.
And half of them are not working, and if they are working why are they in the pub, like in corrie, n the factory they work with machines and in their lunchbreak they go and have a pint, that just isnt right

Answers: Its ludicrous isn't it. The factory girls in Corrie go in every day for lunch even though they are operating machines! And Dev goes to Roys to buy a coffee when he has a kettle in the shop! No one in Enders has a washing machine! And soap characters walk in and out of jobs without P45s and references! Hehe yeah, in eastenders that mate of Shirleys was desperate for a job and begging all day. When she finally got the crap job with low wages at the laundrette, what does she do? Goes down the Vic! Priceless.. hmmm and how come no one in the east end of london owns a toilet or a washing machine? Its called fiction your taking it too serious its only a soap rubbish I know alot of people who sit in the pub everyday, mostly council workers. Just repeat to yourself every day:

Soaps are not real life.
Television is not real life.
It's an entertainment medium, not to be taken literally.

You'll be asking why CSI haven't found Maddie next. maybe they are all drinking alcohol free beer!

anyway how come in corrie and eastenders that they always go the local caff for sandwich when they could easily nip home and make one for a fraction of the price. OMG - You lot have really spoilt it for me now I thought the soaps were all real. Next you will be saying that there is no Santa Claus Many of those portrayed are not exactly the most responsible, intelligent and constructive members of society. Yes and they all go to the cafe to drink tea, Don't they have kettles at home?
And in the year 2007 I thought the majority of people have washing machines ( I do and I'm far from rich or anything) I suppose there has to be a central point but it does put out a bad message doesn't it? I thought the same things but it is not real life it is fiction . its all a fantisy. soap operas are, in the end, completly pointless. i used to watch some until i found out how bored i really was with them. with all their deaths, affairs, pints, bus crashes, fashion industry downfalls. their list of "tragedys" was never ending I know for instance someone will say 'can you lend me money' and the other person will go 'Can't Iam Skint',but then they go off to the pub a few minutes later and they are there until it closes. Also,Bradley and Max are meant to have well paid jobs, but whenever I see them in a suit there just in the street talking or in the pub.I thought I might also add how whenever there is an argument in the pub,the music suddenly stops. Okay this is not real life (although I suppose there are some people who are in the pub everyday) but the reality is that soaps need a location where characters who wouldn't normally associate with each other can be in the same place at the same time, hence the pub/cafe/shop or wherever. but its not real life its only a soap I know, their always down the pub, but i suppose a soap wouldnt be a soap with out a pub...i suppose they dont really have enough money because they are always complaining that they dont have any money Its only acting and in most soaps its not real beer.so it costs very little to make it look like beer.
