How long has Des been doing it, it's not the same without Richard is it?

Answers: Des O' Connor took over (from Des Lynam) in Jan 07. No, it's not the same without Richard but then again it never could be - he was Mr Countdown. i think a few months.
started just before the summer.

but i was never that much of a fan in the first place.. Hes not been doing it very long atall and i agree with you its not the same without Richard. Carol doesnt come across like she did when Richard was doing it either No it's not, and Des has been doing it since just before last Xmas, I think not the same anymore
