GH for me was better in its own right allthough it gave a million & 1 future stars of Eastenders /The Bill ,it also had some of the most memorable characters ever :

Oh, what memories!! byker grove, why i man, nowt but the best hinny Although I am a Geordie, I say Grange Hill, I did enjoy Byker Grove but nothing beats those Grange Hill years, lol. Great Question. Grange Hill. That was so long ago. Grange Hill for me - even though Mrs McCluskey used to scare the hell out of me... Byker Grove Man! Not denying Grange Hill was cool and In my opinion they should bring it back but I liked Byker better.
Why I Man. I liked byker grove out of the two,Although susan tully was in grange hill. Absolutely Grange Hill!! For its time the story lines they tackled were really good like zammo getting hooked on smack and do you remember the storyline about Anette who was being hit by her mum! I was too young to watch them the first time round but they were repeated when I was growing up I loved it!!! xx byker grove Grange Hill. And I mean Grange Hill *before* it moved north and got a bit tame. Grange Hill 10 out of 10 times for me. Byker was just a pretender to getting young audiances - same as Hollyoaks. Ooh, that's a toughie! I'd probably have to say...Grange Hill. I really liked Byker Grove too but it really has to be Grange Hill - it rocked! Byker Grove! Byker grove. come on, Donna air?
