I was too rooting for casey!!! Hung. :-) I was SO rooting for casey!! Hung. But i really wanted Casey to win. Hung won... I was going for Casey, It was a good show though try and catch the re-run, and the reunion is next week.. See, this is why I'm glad the audience does NOT control the choice on who is Top Chef.
Because Hung is clearly the better technical chef, but Casey is more popular and likable. I think it was Casey's to lose, but she totally blew it in the final competition. It was very obvious before they even finished eating all the courses, but I was thinking Dale still had a chance.
Do try to watch one of the many repeats because it was a good finale. Well, you know who won, but i wanted my 2cents in. I agree with Clit.....(nice), I think Hung should have won because of his skills. It's not a popularity contest. If you look back at all the episodes, Casey had a few good meals, but Hung was consistent. I did like Dale as well, but he was all over the board sometimes on what he made. It's a show that is looking for a TOP CHEF, not a pretty face with boobs. Hung, the best chef on the show won. Thought he should have won since the beginning. Judges didnt like him or his attitude, thought that might handicap him in the final round. They couldnt deny his greatness though. have to agree w/kitties & clit- this is the only reality show i know of that votes based on skill, not looks, race or popularity. Good to see Howie helping out last night. I was rooting for Casey, cut she flaked in the last challenge. I also don't think Howie helped her at all. If they weren't looking at the season overall, Dale should have one because he had more courses that they liked and Hung's dessert dish didn't go with anything he served. Hung won. Hung. :-)
