What's your favorite soap opera/novella?
i'm doing some research involving tv soaps/novellas and would like to begin following one series (in english or spanish).
so which one is the best and why?
Answers: general hospital. it's been on the air since 1963 and is about more then affairs. they had a hostage situation this year and an epidemic disease last year. the town mob boss, sonny corinthos' nanny was murdered and now everybody is questioning who it is. people also have got hypnotised and poisoned. so much drama, i love it! Young and the Restless...I have watched that for years along with General Hospital and Days of our Lives. GH, it has the best actors and stories Coronation street. I like it cause all the characters are just ordinary people. No one is super rich, and they deal with everyday problems. Ugly Betty

They send out a positive message that beauty is skin deep General Hospital GH cuz Sonny is hot and keeps me going back for more ! Days of Our Lives, I have watched that since I was a little girl because that was what my grandmother watched, and even though now I work full time I still watch at night on Soap channel to stay caught up so I know whats going on, been watching for about 24 yrs now, that's crazy huh? Y&R,,, General Hospital is the best the people on there are just so real. It is the only soap that doesn't repeat the sam story line every week or so. More real life happens on GH than any other soap. And its great if U have SoapNet in your area because if U miss it mid day U can Catch up with it at night or on the weekends almost any time U want. However the GH: Night Shift is not that good. GH is timeless it's never bad and I never get tired of watching it and other soaps I do, so pick GH. :-p i love general hospital. i love the actors in it and the people that they play. General Hospital by far.

I use to watch that one when I was in High School, but started watching All My Children in my senior year and im still watching it .... and that was 37 years ago ... Wow ... am I ever getting old ...
