Why don't they come out with boxed sets of The Love Boat and Fantasy Island?
I bought my mother Fantasy Island season 1. Thats all they sell. Can't find any other seasons. And I can't find The Love Boat in ANY season. These were her favorite shows. The woman is 80 years old and I would like to be able to buy them for her to watch. Why do they come out with some old shows but not all of them?
Answers: Hi, not sure on what makes them decide what to put out and what not to put out but there are online petitions you can sign to request that older shows be put out on DVD. I don't know the site off the top of my head but I think you could google DVD petition list or something like that and find it. Believe it or not it actually does work. Not sure how many votes it would have to get up to but they have released some shows when they had enough votes.
