what do you think of them promoting people inhaling drugs (ie laughing gas)? Supposedly helium, but the guy's voice changes...and I have never heard of people inhaling helium and living to tell the tale ... Additional Details

The guys are wearing women's wigs and representing Dave Thomas's real life daughter Wendy. I think it is an insult to Wendy and yes if it walks like a transvestite, then it is a transvestite. How many grown men do you know of wearing women's wigs?
As for the people inhaling helium, it may be true it didn't kill you, but I don't think it should be in general promoted to inhale gasses like helium as a "fun" thing to do..Wendy's used to promote healthy eating and good food..not illicit inhalant drug use...

LMAO!!!!! i inhale helium whenever im at a birthday party.... it's awesome and it does change your voice... its not good for you but its fun It's helium....not nitrous oxide (laughing gas) that makes your voice higher. That is also why the employees are pictured as inflated and floating...like balloons filled with helium. Helium DOES NOT kill you if you just suck it out of a balloon. And guess what? ****NEWSFLSH**** No high, either!

And also, the guy in the Wendy's wig is African American in that ad.....Dave Thomas was white. You are taking things WAYYYYYY too literally.....and if you are going to do that, at least be informed!
And a guy wearing a Wendy's wig and a dress shirt and pants is NOT a transvestite! Where were you born? A barn??

Geez Louise! Oh My Goodness............time to lighten up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Find a life.. I think that no name took the question a little too serious, and yes the Wendy's commercials suck. I've seen other commercials with other people (men and women) wearing the Wendy wig. I think it's just symbolic for having "Wendy's on the brain."
