What was all that about when Gwen told Ethan that he had a baby? Whose baby was she holding? Was it theirs?

I'm talking about the very last episode that aired on regular T.V.
As soon as Teresa was telling Ethan he had a son, Gwen comes in the hospitall room holding a baby. And did they ever explain as to why Gwen was tied to the bed?

#1 From what I've read she was holding Teresa and Ethans baby when she told him that. I don't think it was Little Ethan but who knows. Gwen told Ethan it was theirs.
