Answers: I heard that Days was struggling financially. So the network was going to cancel the show. Well they gave them one more year to see if they could get the ratings up. They let go of certain people. Like the lockhart family. Even though the mother now plays the same role she did 20 years ago. To save money. They show the same group of actors for a longer period of time. This way the actors do not have to come to work every day. They are trying to save the show. I hope all goes well. R U SERIOUS?????

when did this come up? wait, i live in Australia, u could live in a different country all together.. that's probably y i haven't heard of this! =/ =]> This rumor flies around all the time. Actually the Days of our Lives contract expires with NBC in 2009. Its highly possible if the ratings don't get better, they won't get picked up by another network. Maybe they will end up on Direct TV with Passions... yes i heard that then they said it would be on until 2009 i hope it stays on but dont know if it will last long or not hope it dose dont know what i do with out it i love my dool and gh no matter how stuiped the storylines get i still watch. was 3 or 4 when my mom got me hooked on dool been a fan for 30 years i am 30 years old now got hooked on gh back in the 90"s. Yes I heard that rumor. The show is going to air until at least 2009. 2009 is when the contract ends with NBC. If the ratings dont go up in the next year and a half the show will most likely be cancelled.
