Where did my channel go? Sky never announced it was going?!

Question:

Where did my channel go? Sky never announced it was going?

Does anyone know where I can watch 8 Simple rules now that channel 170 has disappeared off the face of Sky TV?
It was one of the few American comedy programmes I really liked & now I can't find it. Did anyone have prior warning about the channel disappearing?

I know john Ritter died but they were showing the whole thing again from the start. But its not just that show thats gone, its the whole channel. lame Disney they pulled the plug last week it was on in the morning and by lunch time it was gone off all the service providers.
Their message was "Sorry Disney have taken ABC of air thank you all for your loyal three years"
Discusting I liked it too so we will have to look else where try tvlinks.com they usually show all the old shows. Bad news: John Ritter took the dirt nap. Sorry!!! ABC1 (the channel) has closed on all platforms. ABC 1 was one of my favorite channels and 8 Simple rules was great All the shows were easy to watch and good clean fun My granddaughterand I watched it all the time and It will be missed . if you go into your tv guide you can search for it alphabeticaly Disney announced its plans to close the channel a few weeks ago.

Walt Disney Television EMEA executive vice president and managing director, John Hardie said:

"While abc1 successfully found a strong audience in day time through introduction of day long fiction, the inability to get access to a Freeview primetime spectrum together with our focus on the Disney brand led us to the conclusion that it was best to move on."

There are no plans to either sell or replace abc1's spot with another Disney channel at present.

Having said that I'm not sure if Sky actually warned anyone about this. Perhaps they put an article in their customer magazine - but really how many people actually read that!!
