Answers: They didn't really write her out she is coming back in season 7 as a completely different character apparently

she was killed off when bill Lawrence thought season 6 would be last season but now he knows it isn't
season 7 however is the last season

She's been there from the start so maybe she'd had enough, or she got asked to be in something that took up all her time and decided to leave. She must have probably decided to go, or they wrote her out coz she dont really do much. Apparently she is coming back as someone else.
Its like Bobby Ewing in the shower all over again.
You will need to be over a certain age to get that last bit I'm afraid.
