Gartom.... your answer is one that I look forward to...... lol, ...I like to know when i'm in a bad mood ... and you always tll me ... !? God, I 100% agree.

It annoys me intensely when they all tell us, with tears in their eyes, "I'm doing it for my kids/dead granny/fellow squaddies..."

No, you're bloody not. You're doing it because you're desperate to be a superstar. Be honest about it. I agree with ya 100% lol I know what you mean i was just watching it and it was like i am singing for my dad that passed away -- i know it is sad BUT they should have came on to SING and too be able to SING -- I like fallen angels THEY ROCK! I'm scared to answer! I think their stories should be kept to themselves Yes, it would, and we don't see much of Dermot, do we? Absolutely! pass the bucket lads! i think they should just do months of the audition shows, they're classic!!! omg not you as well , i don't mind the stories , everyone has a past , they do it for the ratings and make you pick a favourite right from the beginning , its worked too , because my fav at the moment is emily (thats if she gets through to live rounds ) oh yeah for sure...its kinda tired and pathetic the smae thing again and again,
its like they are trying to get the public emotionally into it but i think its to much
the amount of music and songs they play in the background to spark emotion is just poor.
i kno they try to make it good through "fantastic editing" but i dont like it one bit
it would be much better if they just showed it without all the lights and flashy nonsence It's all doing my head in....
Their husbands have died, they want to do it to feed their children...It's all so false. And to top it all; they usually can't sing. This comp should be about whether or not the contestant can sing...I do not see what the sob stories have to do with it at all. Well it all adds to the drama, but I get the feeling that it's the same old with you and if so I agree it's boring once the auditions are over because we all know the format and we all know it's not a talent competion but how far up the millionaire list Simon can get! It's all a ploy the "dead parants" saga, and they do it because they know thjat the judges WILL be influenced by sob stories be it real or fake, so you have to give it to them for trying..
With regards to the sob stories i think it's a good part of the format and does have a place on the show but i agree, can be a bit tedious at times but thats |TV for you.

http://xfactorauditions.blogspot.com... Yeah your right doc, WTF is it with all the sob stories this year?????????????????????????

I'm f*cking sick of them, get a grip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... i know, and it seems to be constant sob stories this year more so than others...the worst being the army bloke going to the audition in his uniform! On tonights show they were saying about some 22 year old bloke who was an asbestos cleaner or sth trying to make it a sob story, it's a decent job and anyway your 22, you live in England, its not as if you havent got any other opportunities..........im p!ssed off that some good singers have been voted off because they havent got a sob story, that bloke that sang the elton john song brilliantly and had a likeable personality was voted off, the rest of the over 25's were much worse than him.

Hopefully we'll all vote for the people with a good voice and ignore the shite about what a hard life they've got, and they'll learn not to spoil the auditions with it anymore We were trying to play count the sob story here but lost count!
WTF was dermot all about asking that teacher "What does this mean to you in terms of the little kids you see every day?"
She's a teacher ffs where's the sob story in that? But without all the sad stories, it would only be like, a talent contest, or something. Annoys me, but read in the Mail today that the crew encourage the contestants to tell these stories. What gets me is those that come from a one parent family and actually think the are the only ones in the UK!

Miss me; too right, how are the parents of those children going to feel after what she said about them!?!
