Leona will do well, she has an album coming out.
Some reality show winners go on to do well, such as Girls Aloud and the wonderful, lovely, fabulous Will Young (gartom, shame on you, Will DID win Pop Idol!!!!!)
No real talent on show tonight - I believe one of the two made-up groups will do well. Fix, possibly????!!!!! I reckon Leona will become a mecca star. Judging by your Q&A tonight you don't sound like a happy bunny, has someone boiled it? lol
But yeah I agree with you, Will Young is the only one I can think of that's done well and he didn't even win!
Think that was Pop Idol though. The point is is to make Simon Cowell even more money.
And I agree, the winners just vanish.....it's such a shame as well because Leona has an amazing singing voice and with the right songs, she could have been big Girls aloud won pop stars the rivals and them seem to be doing great, but Leona is bringing an album out round about now which is ment to be brilliant, she has been working on it so long as they are all new songs not covers apparentley. Shane has a new single out and is on tour soon. Not too sure about Leona. the xfactor is fixed i know someone that been on it . the person with the sadnes story will win dnt matter what coz the phone lines are riged wow !!!!you are on one tonight aren't you lol? , i think ray's done quite well out of it , girls aoud , as gartom says will young , i think they can still be stars , the problem with leona they were trying to make her big in america before uk , i don't know if she did , but she better hurry up soon because this years winner will outshine her if she's not careful Its all for entertainment.

And what do you mean "What's the point"...At least it gives us something to watch and chat about on here. X Factor is not a talent show, it's both a arena for making money and a vehicle for public humiliation just like big brother, people will do anything for there 15 minutes of fame without any talent or hard work what so ever. Actually Shane and Leona both are realising singles at the moment Shane has 2 out and Leona's is set to be released,I do like the X Factor,but I think they are starting ti lose the 'Star Quality Factor' with all these shows which are being created now and people just want to find fame quick Iam not saying they won't find a good singer but it seems like they become a clone of what sells well and they are losing originality. They just want the oppturnity to be a singer. Also they properly think they will be the exception. Shayne will have a number 2 single tomorrow behind the Sugababes.
Leona is going to release her new song in October and will no doubt be number 1 and will also be launching in America. I agree 100% that's why I'm not so bothered about it I'm dissilluisioned with it but I noticed that when x factor is on again the winner from the previous show releases a record!! Yeah completely agree Doc, win the X Factor and fade in to obscurity! lmao, bring back Pop Idol, at least we still know Will Young!
Shayne has a new single out by the way, it's tipped for number 1! I just heard that Shane 'song' again today and realised how truly, truly awful it is... What's with the freaking chipmunk effect on his voice... Who thought that sounded good? Phew, rant over...
Mostly, it's a totally cynical ploy to make a quick buck, and unfortunately the acts get dropped the moment they're signed... The way these acts are marketed is too old fashioned.
