X-Factor. Has anyone noticed that people always get through if they tell a sob s!

Question:

X-Factor. Has anyone noticed that people always get through if they tell a sob story about a dead relative?

Answers: And don't forget the battered wife one !!

Pesumably got 3 thumbs down because I mentioned Battered Wifes. Sorry to burst your bubble guys but 20 years ago I was a 'Battered Wife' BIG TIME. X Factor wasn't around then, but let me tell you SINGING was the last thing I wanted to do even after I left the Bastard.

Why are people so quick to judge on here at the moment. ye Yes it's a bit unfair but i suppose people feel sorry for them yes i thought that That's why I NEVER WATCH ANYMORE IT IS PAST IT'S SELL BY DATE, they must think people are so gullible. But it is not about ability, its about television ratings.

The winners with talent will be picked, but you need some people to get television votes.

It works like this, you choose a potential top three, and get rid of 4 to 10 in favour of somebody hanging on by a thread, its makes for great telly, and at the end of the contest, the tear jerking fighter is beaten by real talent, so the viewers don't think that they have been treated to harsly, and you get rid of the almost x factors with some rating powerful votes.

votes = money Yeah I think it's a bit of a piss take when people go on there and start crying about how crap their lives are before they've even sung a song. It's a talent show, not a charity event.

Half the country's probably had a bad deal at some point, but we don't all go around whining about it to anyone who'll listen. yeah i hate the sob storys they wind me up but love the x factor Yes and whilst I do feel sorry for them if they are genuine I think it is totally wrong to use the sympathy vote - remember the woman in the wheelchair last year? She didn't really have any talent at all. It is a talent show after all. yes some do but some do have talent. the women who came on when she said a weapon was used could sing well. They do like a bit of a sob story, those XFactor producers, don't they?
That makes Simon's argument about giving people false hope completely useless.... Oh well, you'll get a shot cos everyone feels sorry for you Moist of the tym yes!!! Luv PP xxxx Only if they can sing too! only the odd few , and in a couple of weeks if they get through after boot camp they will be in all the mags with their stories ,you may find it hard to believe but some people have it tough in life , and not everything is plain sailing for them , some people deserve a break , and if this is the only way they can make it , good for them ,most people would milk the opportunity if they were given one .,show a little compassion everyone has a past , It makes good telly. But they never get any where anyway. I thought the woman in a wheelchair might have won last year.
