Would you consider Davros to be a Darlek?
Answers: Davros was the chief scientist of the Kaleds on the planet Skaro, during their centuries long war with the Thals. Davros, realised that contamination from the nuclear and biological weapons used in the war was mutating the Kaled race, and artificially accelerated the process to create the ultimate evolutionary end product and ensure the Kaleds survival.
Davros, however, removed what he thought of as "negative emotions" from the mutants (compassion, mercy, kindness, e.t.c), as part of his secret plan to create a life form capable on conquering the Universe, of which he desired to become ultimate ruler.
Davros was himself a mutant and built the mark 1 travel machine, as a means of communication and mobility for himself. His mark 3 travel machines, on the other hand, although loosely based on the same design as the mark 1, were built to house the ultimate mutated form of the Kaled people, which during the final phase of his research were renamed Daleks.
Note: Dalek is an anagram of Kaled.

Doctor Who series 12, episode 4 (6 parts) "Genesis of the Daleks". No, he was a scientist who got injured in an accident. He designed the Daleks, striving for a perfect creature. Definitely not. He was their leader after they put him back together. They then turned on him and killed him ultimately sealing their own fate.
I think the storyline was lifted from history.
xxR No, Davros was not actually a Dalek - he was just the creator of them. He was one of the races that evolved into the Daleks but he didn't undergo the mutations that the daleks did before being put into their casings. no he wasnt. he was the mastermind behind the darleks. Davros created the Daleks, He used what looks like the lower half of a Dalek to move around as with out it he would have been immobile.
