There was a show on probably close to 15 years ago...like a family show. It was about a mom dad and their kids and they had this robot kid. She wore a red dress maybe? But she was a robot. The theme song was "Would you like to swing on a star....carry moonbeams home in a jar....and be better off than you are....you could be swinging on a star" or something like that. I think this girl may have also worn an apron? Anyone know what I am talking about? Thanks!
Answers: The robot was Vicky from "Small Wonder" and the theme song you quoted was from "Out of This World". I think you have your shows mixed up a bit. The description was dead on for another show (I don't remember the title, but the song was the theme for "Out of This World" The star character was half human half alien and we never saw her father but we heard his voice just about every episode (Burt Reynolds I think) Any way, here is the link to that show.
