Which "The Office" do you like better? The US or UK Version?!

Question:

Which "The Office" do you like better? The US or UK Version?

I think it is definitely the US opinion for me. The minor characters are much more humorous in the US.

Answers: US. I think it depends on which you saw first. For me, it was the US. The Office is a great show, you feel like you actually know the people. Thursday is my fav day of the week! The US version suits the US sense of humour (very basic). Other than that, it sucks as you might say. They should have just made their own program from scratch and not tried to adapt a format that simply is not American and never will be. The US version is good, but let's face it, the UK is better; it's more realistic, witty, and went out on a high note, instead of lingering on for four seasons +. A lot of the US characters are unbelievable, and larger than life; very caricaturesque. I don't buy the Jim character languishing away at a dead end job as well as I could buy the character of Tim in that similar position. That's the mistake US remakes always make: they stick someone way too good looking into the role, ie. Red Dwarf, where they casted Lister as a statuesque hunk who you couldn't buy for a second would ever have girl troubles.
I still enjoy The US version a lot, and will continue to watch it, but it has not, nor will likely ever, achieve the same level of brilliance as its predecessor. Case closed.
