but i can understand about the blonde thing, cause there are alot of dark haired ppl who used to be blonde... as for the accent youd think 6 yrs in NZ would have sort of affect on his cockney accent...

the actor did an interview on the bbc1 page :D he lived in walford until he was in his early teens. then livedd in NZ for 6 years with his english father. Why would he lose his accent?
The hair is an emo thing I think. Also lots of blonde haired kids grow up and their hair changes colour as they get older.
