This may be a stupid question, but I have no idea what the deal is with Evangeline, why isnt she appearing on the show anymore? I know she is in a coma, but why hasnt she returned yet?
Answers: Renee and ABC couldn't agree on a new contract for her. She was asking for too much money and they wouldn't agree to it, so she left the show. Vangie remains in a coma until they figure out what to do with her. No one even mentions her anymore. She didn't renew her contract so they put her in a coma. They haven't said anything about recasting her as of yet so for now she's in a coma indefinitely. The actress that played Evangeline Williamson, asked for more money and she asked for too much. They let her go; which is very unfortunate because she was my favourite actress and I think she was the best actress on the show. I hope to see her on another soap; it's too bad it won't be my favourite soap. Because she had a contract dispute over more money and OLTL would not give what she wanted so she walked away. when they wont pay

she didnt get her contract renewed I'm glad she became all grandiose and they got rid of her @ss. I haven't like Evangeline since she broke up with R.J. to get with John Mcbain. Oh, by the way I don't like his @ss either. Renee Goldsberry's (Evangeline) contract was up. Evangeline is most likely gone for good unless they find someone else to portray her.
