Is it true Simon Cowell saved the life of an American Idol auditioner by not letting her go to Hollywood?
I heard it on Extra at the end. Which auditioner was it?
Answers: She wasn`t auditioning for American Idol it was Britain`s X Factor. Her name is Jacqui Gray and she is a 46 year old Mother of 2. Simon and Sharon both said that her throat did something funny when she sang and that she should see a Doctor. She did and was diagnosed with a potentially fatal lung condition. They caught it in time and she is responding well to treatment. Seems to me that she is the real winner of X Factor!! hecould save mine by ending that stupid show, I think they all have enough money now, I wish they would end it, it's so boring and stupid YES, it is true! Simon actually told a lady that auditioned:
"Something weird happens in your throat when you sing."
Her name was Jacqui Gray and she was a mother of two. Sharon and Simon told her to seek medical help! So she decided to go to a Dr when she returned home to check out her throat, and they diagnosed a fatal lung condition! Amazing, isn't it?
I am just so happy that they caught it in time and now she is on drugs and physiotherapy. Simon wa s happy too when he heard the report....see, getting rejected from Simon actually CAN be a good thing in your life! don't believe everything you hear. i'm sure the auditioner didn't appreciate his valor. Well, technically no, but he did allegedly 'save someone's life' by telling an auditioner on UK X Factor that she had a funny rasp to her voice and she should get it checked out, she went to the doctor who diagnosed some kind of potentially fatal respiratory condition...
And she went to the press gushing that the X Factor saved her life. BTW she didn't get through to boot camp!
