Anybody else watching "Torchwood" on BBC America?!

Question:

Anybody else watching "Torchwood" on BBC America?

If you are, what do you think?

Answers: I think it's a good show, overall. The "Jack" character is a bit underwhelming so far, and the show lacks the cleverness of "Jeckyll", but it's still an entertaining show and well worth the hour to watch it. The "First Day" scene where the two women kissed was an incredible turn-on! I hope they devote a few more minutes each episode to revealing background information about Torchwood and its history, as well as the history of aliens on earth. I am not watching it yet but am so looking forward to the start of the show on BBC Canada. Captain Jack is excellent in the third season of Dr. Who (though grating in previous performances) and there's a good setup in one of the episodes. Can't wait.

For the first poster - the Torchwood Institute was founded in the second episode of David Tennant's first season of Dr. Who by Queen Victoria for tracking and hunting the doctor. Later, near the last episode of the first season (of Tennat's doctorship. LOL) we see Torchwood in the episode featuring the war between the Cybermen and Daleks trying to trap the doctor. In the episode mentioned in the first part of this, Captain Jack tells the doctor that the purpose of the institute now is to honor him. Most definetly. Am totally addicted. I had put it on TIVo and hadn't watched any until last night, so that left me with 3 or 4 episodes, and I had a great night watching the show. Now, I have never been a Dr. Who fan, only because I can't figure out where to start, so I guess it's time to start. But anyway, I just thought that this show was wonderful, original and funny. But then it's British and they always seem to get things done better than we do.
