researched not even remotely like highlander. Ummm...what. Heroes is nothing like Highlander at all. It's more like X-men meets The Champions via Invasion of the Body Snatchers with a small detour through Twin Peaks. Shades of Watchmen as well. LOL!!!!!

Okay, so I don't honestly think it's anything at all like the Highlander.

But that said, when Hiro was on the field with the Japanese warriors, and the guy came riding up he thought was his hero, I said, honest to god, "Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out to be Duncan MacLeod in that suit of armor?" Well, there is a sword in Heroes. Other than that, not even remotely close to being in the same neighborhood.
