Doctor who fans only?!

Question:

Doctor who fans only?

I am MAD about Doctor who and probably one of the biggest fans!!! I want to know any rumores about the new series or the christmas special!!!

Answers: I love Doctor Who, but because I like it, I don't want to know too much about, who, what, when, I will watch it and enjoy the finalised showing of it, and suspend disbelief as I watch it.

Actors, production team, settings, are all necessary to produce Doctor Who, but to me Doctor Who is the fantasy, which just needs these things to survive. Christmas Special is having Kylie in it, apparently. just gonna say watch Hero's tonight on channel 2 as Christopher Eccelsons on it ! sorry i have not heard anything yet about doctor who ! What kind of doctor uses only fans? My doctor uses air conditioning. try
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/... OK - here's what is known about this years Christmas Special and forthcoming series so far.

The Christmas special is called "Voyage of the Damned" and will feature Kylie Minogue playing a waitress on The Titanic called Astrid. Geoffrey Palmer who has been in many UK sitcoms and has appeared in Doctor Who twice before ("The Silurians "in 1970 and "The Mutants" in 1972) will play the Captain of the Titanic. Clive Swift from the BBC comedy "Keeping Up Appearances" and who has also previously appeared in Doctor Who (Revelation of the Daleks in 1985) will also have a major role.

Other actors confirmed to appear are Gray O'Brien (who appeared in the film "The Queen"), comedienne Debbie Chazen, Clive Rowe, Russell Tovey, Jimmy Vee (who played the Moxx of Balhoon in "End of the World") and George Costigan.

Series 4 of Doctor Who will start around the beginning of April 2008 and will feature Catherine Tate as the Doctor's new companion Donna Noble. Freema Agyeman will also return as Martha Jones halfway through the series after a stint on Torchwood.

Episodes confirmed so far are one where the Doctor and Donna meet Agatha Christie, another which will see the return of the Ood ("Planet of the Ood") and a third where the Doctor and Donna visit the ancient Roman town of Pompeii, on the eve of the historic eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

The most likely unconfirmed rumour so far is that the creator of the Daleks, Davros will appear in the new series, and might possibly be played by Ben Kingsley. I stress, however that this rumour has arrisen from press speculation and has not been confirmed by the BBC.

There will also be a 2008 Christmas special, although no details are yet available.

Series 5 has been postponed until spring 2010, so that David Tennant will be able to do some theatre work (acting in Shakespearian plays) and also generally to give Russel. T Davies and his team a break. The gap will be filled by 3, hour long, Doctor Who specials in 2009. It has been confirmed that Tennant will continue to play the Doctor at least until then, but seems likely that he will continue to play the Doctor in series 5 as well, although the BBC don't confirm casting that far ahead.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult... Big rumour about the Christmas Special, it's too good not to tell someone, don't really want to to spoil it but the ship sinks.

From the on set photos I've seen you're going to see a very dapper Doctor this Christmas, perhaps with a little James Bond flair. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan as well and really enjoy speculating about new episodes and series.

Christmas special is called 'Voyage of the Damned' and is starring Kylie Minogue as a maid on the Titanic called 'Astrid'. Astrid is an anagram of TARDIS which quite a few people think is significant.

We know of four other episodes in the upcoming series 4.

1. Donna tracks down the Doctor when there is an alien emergency in London which leads to her becoming a full time companion.

2. Planet of the Ood - where we might possibly discover the origins of the Ood species.

3. An episode where the Doctor and Donna meet Agatha Christie.

4. The Doctor and Donna arrive in Pompeii AD 79 before the famous volcanic eruption.

If you like discussing stuff like this you could check out my speculation group on Facebook if you're on there: http://salford.facebook.com/group.php?gi... Davros is coming back in the Christmas special. To kill Donna, I hope.
