I don't remember much just that it was either muppets or carttonish. Anyways they would go in some tunnel and the show would take place underground. I'm not sure for what but I've been wanting to remember.

Yes it was fraggle rock! lol. Thank You. I believe you are looking for "Fraggle Rock". I loved this show as a kid. It is available in both "muppet" version and a cartoon version. The theme song started "Cast your cares away, worries for another day, let the music play, down to Fraggle Rock" (Or something similar! lol)
