1990s show Finders Keepers, otherwise known as The Finder?!

Question:

1990s show Finders Keepers, otherwise known as The Finder?

If anyone else, besides me and a few small minority of people, remember this show I want to know what the name of the style of badge Patrick wears when he's looking for his find that beeps when he was near it. I vaguely remember them from the early 90s, obviously they don't really beep though. They're sort of a hologram type, ripple effect badge. Can anyone shed any light or am I just talking cr@p? Cheers ;-)

Just to confirm it is not Fun House with Pat Sharpe, nor is it the game show Finders Keepers where the kids had clues and had to go and find items around the house. It was an Austrailian TV drama with a boy named Patrick, played by Jeremy Schwerdt crossed a time barrier to take part in a game show called Finders Keepers. There was a Timekeeper clock in the shopping centre of Patrick's side of the barrier that lost it's regulator and time started to go sku-wiff. The badge I am refering to is the one Max (from the other side) gave to Patrick in order to help him find the lost items. It worked like a homing beacon and would beep really loudly whenever he was nearby.
