Zorak asks, "Do the patrons at Hell's Kitchen have to pay for their meals?"?
"I mean, when the episodes air, often service gets closed down, and meals aren't always served completely. Are the patrons invited to Hell's Kitchen? Do they have to pay or are the meals provided because they agree to be part of the show? Anyone with ACTUAL information would be provided, please."

I was wondering the same thing myself. But I have to think that they don't otherwise word would get out about the crappy service and nobody would show up if they had to pay for the dinner. I cannot remember ever seeing anyone leaving money or a tip at the table. I am sure FOX is probably picking up the tab for for the show.
