I'm a U.S. viewer and noticed that Rose is missing. What gives?

In helping the Doctor save the world from a Dalek and Cyberman war she was pulled into "the void" a kind of hell dimension. Just before she crossed the threshold she was rescued by her father (from an alternate earth) and reunited there with her mother and Mickey.
Shortly afterwards the Doctor uses a supernova to get enough power to say goodbye to her - although he can never go back for her.
She is now alive and well; working for Torchwood in the alternate earth; and expecting a baby sister.
The two part show was called Army of Ghosts / Doomsday and if you never see another episode of Doctor Who you should see those two.
