I havent seen any of the newer episodes, but i keep hearing stuff about an accident with Richard Hamond. what happened?

I watch it it's really good. They seem to make the show more than jus cars. They seem to come up with the craziest challenges, its easily the best car show I've ever seen. You seen fifth gear? If u hav u gotta agree its a cheap copy!
