I just started watching last summer and I don't know what Rick did or why, to Carly in the panic room while she was pregnant? Anyone know the answer?

Well a long time ago Rick and Elizabeth were married and were going to have a kid, but something happened and Liz miscarried. Rick really loved her though and wanted her to hav a kid. Carly was also pregnat at that time so Rick kidnapped her and locked her in the panic room. He kept her there until Liz found out that he was keeping her there and made her let Carly go.
