i just watched the season premier of dr who season 3. no more, so pleaseeeee dont spoil anything in the future episodes. thanks so much. we encountered the aliens with the santa masks again, after first meeting them in season 2 while the doctor was regenerating. but, the santas took a back seat when the other aliens came to enslave earth. i simply cannot remember what happened with them in that episode. was there any resolution? or did we just assume they were part of the invasion. i hope you can help me out without revealing anything about the later episodes of season 3 or even 4. thanks

They were only what the Doctor refered to as "pilot fish". They were just coming to scout out the area before the Zigerats (sorry of that's not how it's spelled) invaded. I think I remember they just ended up beaming back up and going away.
