Why do people still watch Big Brother?
Everyone must realize the show is fixed by now?

A lot of phone vote shows have been shown to be dishonest lately, and Big Brother has ended voting by SMS to help make the result accurate.
It isn't the thought of BB being fixed which bothers me most. Every year, Channel 4/Endemol try to find a bigger bunch of freaks and oddballs than last year. You just know on launch night there are going to be a bigger share of homosexuals than reflects their numbers in the real world. There will be a butch gay man who hates camp gay men, and a gay man with a squeaky voice dressed in pink. A man who hates immigrants and a muslim immigrant were paired up one year along with a post-op TS. A porn star with unfeasibly large breasts last year. The big ego characters are always subued by the bigger egos, and the nice genuine people like Jon Tickle and Alex Sibley never win. Instead we reward stupidity and lack of talent by handing fame without reason to people like Jade Goody.
This year I don't know any of them, it looks worse than ever.
