What is the name of that series off ITV??
I think it was only ever the first series and it was on around the same time as Invasion. It was mainly about a young boy who found an odd egg and hatched it to find that it was a lizard type thing which just got bigger and bigger and then eventually we found out these creatures where from the earths core. The little creature befriended and protected the boy and even saved his life at one point using his electrical powers, which he also used to kill his food. Please help it's driving me nuts!!

The Series was called Surface, Unfortunately it got cancelled as most good series tend to do !
