Y&R's Phyllis: do you also think the character is so named in honor of comedienne Phyllis Diller?
Phyllis Diller is having a birthday soon... her 90th...
She played a hairdresser on a few episodes of B&B; I think I read somewhere that the Bells (Y&R/B&B producers) are family friends... I know it sounds funny - but why not?

Phyllis' Susan L.'s Mom?! what a wild and far out rumor... They are both - one could say- petite, no?

- Patricia Clarkson is slated to portray her in a movie about her early years in stand-up, due for release in 2007? tho I saw no mention of it on her wiki page.... Definately a juicy role/story for somebody.....
